Counseling Hearts and Restoring Hope

ABOUT ME
I provide compassionate, collaborative counseling for individuals seeking healing, clarity, and lasting change. My approach is relational and conversational, creating a safe and supportive space where you can explore your experiences, understand patterns, and work through root issues at a pace that feels right for you.
Together, we will identify your strengths, develop practical tools, and move toward meaningful growth and emotional well-being. Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationship concerns, self-esteem challenges, or chronic stress, you do not have to face it alone. Counseling is a place where hope can be restored and new possibilities can emerge.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with degrees from Dallas Baptist University and Baylor University, and I have experience working with adolescents and adults facing PTSD and trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, relationship challenges, stress management, and self-esteem concerns. Faith-based perspectives may be incorporated upon request and are always guided by your preferences and goals.

"Today I close the door to my past, open the door to my future, take a deep breath and step through to a new life."
Louise L. Hay
COUNSELING APPROACH
I believe effective recovery addresses the whole person—emotional, physical, intellectual, and spiritual. My approach is integrative and evidence-based, allowing treatment to be tailored to each individual’s needs, goals, and values.
I utilize a range of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Brainspotting, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and PREPARE/ENRICH for relationship and marital work. Christian principles may be thoughtfully incorporated into counseling at the client’s request.
INDIVIDUAL THERAPY
I enjoy working with adolescents and adults ages 12 and up. I have experience supporting clients navigating PTSD and trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, adolescent concerns, relationship challenges, relaxation training, and self-esteem issues.
I would be honored to support you on your journey toward healing and wholeness. Together, we will establish meaningful goals and work to positively impact your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors so you can experience greater peace, clarity, joy, and hope. Please feel free to reach out with any questions about therapy or my approach.

BRAIN SPOTTING & EMDR
Are you struggling with sleep difficulties, anxiety, panic attacks, intrusive or negative self-talk, overwhelming grief or sadness, heightened fears, depression, or unresolved trauma? Trauma can stem from many experiences, including sexual assault, rape, accidents, bullying, medical trauma, or early childhood experiences.
Brainspotting and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) are evidence-based trauma therapies designed to help the brain and body process distressing memories and experiences in a more adaptive and less overwhelming way. These approaches can support healing by reducing emotional intensity, increasing regulation, and helping you move forward with greater clarity and stability.
If you are interested in exploring Brainspotting or EMDR therapy with a trained professional, I invite you to reach out to learn more or schedule a consultation.

COUPLES THERAPY
I enjoy working with dating, engaged, and married couples who desire deeper connection, healthier communication, and renewed hope in their relationships. In our work together, I help couples identify their strengths, gain insight into the underlying dynamics influencing their communication and conflict, and develop practical skills to support growth, understanding, and long-term connection.
As a certified PREPARE/ENRICH Facilitator, I guide couples step by step through a structured, research-based assessment process designed to strengthen relationships and restore hope. I am also a Twogether in Texas Service Provider and would be honored to support couples preparing for marriage through premarital counseling that meets program requirements while fostering emotional and relational readiness.
If you are ready to invest in your relationship, I invite you to schedule an appointment and begin the journey toward healing, growth, and lasting connection.

BOOK YOUR VIRTUAL APPOINTMENT TODAY
Now offering virtual appointments to the state of Texas including all major cities and rural communities. Whether you live in a big city like Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, and San Antonio or in a smaller city like Bastrop, Round Rock, College Station, Lubbock, Waco, or somewhere in between, I am happy to serve you.
Clients love the ease of virtual appointments because there is no commute, they can meet in the comfort and privacy of their own home, they can have the support of their loved ones or pets, and/or they don't have to hire a babysitter for kids that can easily be in the next room.

Is Virtual Counseling Right for Me?
Virtual counseling can be a great fit for many individuals, but it’s important to determine whether it meets your needs. Telehealth counseling may be right for you if:
-
You live anywhere in Texas and prefer not to commute
-
You value flexibility and convenience in scheduling
-
You feel comfortable using video technology
-
You want to attend sessions from a familiar, private environment
-
You are managing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship concerns, or stress
Virtual counseling may not be appropriate for individuals who require a higher level of care, crisis intervention, or in-person services. If telehealth is not the best fit, I can help discuss alternative options or referrals.
If you’re unsure whether virtual counseling is right for you, I invite you to reach out with questions or schedule a consultation to explore your options.
